This summer, we are holding the “Shinhotaka Cool Summer Campaign.”
A limited-time evening cool-down ropeway and refreshing summer menu items will be available,
offering a cool summer experience where you can eat, drink, explore, and enjoy.

This photogenic drink recreates the sea of clouds that can be seen from Shin-Hotaka Ropeway with a two-layer blue and white beverage.
The combination of cold soft-serve ice cream and fizzy soda is sure to leave you feeling refreshed.
The popular character “Nishihokun,” who appears at Shin-Hotaka Ropeway in winter, has been recreated as an ice cream.
We recommend taking a photo with the spectacular view of the Northern Alps in the background. Please enjoy Nishihokun Ice, perfect both as a commemorative photo item and as a refreshing cool sweet.
This shaved ice is made with “Hida peaches,” which grow juicy and full of sweetness thanks to the clear water of the Northern Alps and the large temperature differences in the Hida region.
Hida peaches are only available for a short period, making this a special and rare item. Please be sure to try it.
This smoothie captures the fresh, juicy flavor of Hida tomatoes just as they are. Each smoothie is made generously with one whole tomato.
It is the perfect drink for recharging your energy after lots of activity, as well as for staying hydrated.
This is a new photo spot located at Itadaki no Mori, Nishihotakaguchi Station. Since the temperature at Nishihotakaguchi Station for the day is displayed, it is a great place to take a commemorative photo of your trip!
A limited-time campaign is also currently being held where you can receive Nishihokun Ice by posting to your Instagram Story.
By stamping the five stamps placed around Nishihotakaguchi Station in order, a beautiful summer view of Shin-Hotaka Ropeway will appear.
The stamp card can be used as a postcard, so you can take it home as a souvenir or mail it from the Yamabiko Post.
Relax and enjoy a luxurious moment lying in a hammock, gently swaying in the refreshing breeze within the lush greenery of Itadaki no Mori.
The spectacular view of the Northern Alps stretching out before you will help you forget the noise of everyday life and leave you feeling refreshed.
The outdoor experience event “HIDA OUTDOOR DEEP #02” will be held at Itadaki no Mori, located at an altitude of 2,156 meters.
Unique summer experiences await you in the nature of the Northern Alps, including “smoked ice cream making” and “insect repellent spray making using the scent of the forest.” There will also be plenty of gourmet food, such as crepes and curry!
A special ropeway operation where you can relax and enjoy the twilight hours, wrapped in the soft light before sunset and surrounded by clear mountain air. The pleasant coolness and magnificent scenery make a summer evening feel even more luxurious.
