As part of efforts to enhance the appeal of the Shinhotaka Ropeway, the rooftop observation deck at Nishihotakaguchi Station in the summit area reopened on Saturday, July 19th.

Facility Name: ‘AlpScape’
A new wooden deck has been added to the existing observation deck at an elevation of 2,156 meters, transforming it into a space where visitors can enjoy the majestic mountain scenery of the Northern Alps from a higher vantage point than before.
※The name “AlpScape” for the observation deck is a coined term combining ‘Alps’ and “Scape” to symbolize the unique and magnificent scenery of the Northern Alps.
