After running for a limited three-week period in early summer 2025, when the fresh green foliage was at its most vibrant, the Okuhida Mountain Bus returns this year, carrying the charm of Okuhida as it speeds through the great nature of the Okuhida Onsengo hot spring area. This year, enjoy a different experience on the way there and back! Feel the refreshing breeze of the fresh green season on the open-top bus and fully enjoy the unique charm of the Okuhida Onsengo area. As a special perk on the outbound Mountain Bus, you’ll receive a postcard. Be sure to drop it in the Yamabiko Post on the 4th floor of Nishi-Hotakaguchi Station as a memento of your ride!

Fare:
• Okuhida Onsengo Area Departure/Arrival: One-way 2,500 yen/person, Round-trip 4,000 yen/person
• Takayama Bus Center Departure/Arrival: One-way 3,500 yen/person, Round-trip 6,000 yen/person (※Only the first and last buses daily)
• Fare is the same regardless of which stop you board from. (One-way fare)
• Same fare for adults and children (including preschoolers).
• Round-trip discount is valid only for travel on the same day. The discount does not apply for travel spanning multiple days.
